Roadhouse Simulator Guide

Building and repairs

A busy roadhouse destroys its own furniture. Repairing is the cheap option, replacing is the expensive one, and there is a hard limit on how many times a piece can be saved — so this page is about keeping your bar out of the scrap heap.

Placing furniture and decorations

From DRAGO's "Build It in Your Way" devlog:

  • You choose from designated areas around the roadhouse — it is not free placement anywhere.
  • You can pick up and reposition placed objects, or store them away for later, so the layout can change as the business grows.
  • Larger furniture sets occupy their full footprint — a big set needs the space to actually fit, so measure before you buy.

The repair system, exactly as the devlog describes it

  1. Equip the hammer (Molly) from your tool wheel.
  2. Look at destroyed furniture to see a ghost preview.
  3. Green preview = repairable. Point and interact to start rebuilding it.
  4. Red preview = beyond repair. It has to be replaced.
  5. Every piece has a repair limit — each fix brings it closer to the point of no return.

That is why the store page tells you to "keep some spare furniture around": furniture is closer to ammunition than to decoration.

Cleaning: three separate jobs

Demo hotfix #3 specifically added garbage removal by button press — before that, clearing trash was more manual. If you played the Prologue earlier in 2026 and found the cleanup tedious, that was fixed in the Demo.

Staff: who to hire and why

The store's "Build a Crew" feature lists four roles:

  • Bartender — pours. This is the job that scales with Hype.
  • Server — delivers orders. This is the job that stops your bar from stalling at peak.
  • Cleaner — bodies, stains and debris. The single best hire for a one-person bar, because mess is what gets you inspected.
  • Bouncer — handles the door and the trouble, freeing you to manage instead of fight.

"You can't do everything yourself forever" is DRAGO's own framing — and keep the crew paid, because wages are an ongoing cost, not a one-time purchase.

Supplies and storage

  • Deliveries arrive and wait for you to unload them ("Delivery is waiting" in the objective feed).
  • Kegs are physical and must be attached when a tap runs dry.
  • The vending machine needs restocking.
  • The back room is where you stash, package and deliver questionable cargo — with a board showing the current order, a package size, a price, and colour-coded counts for each product type.

Keeping the place standing

  1. Repair green, replace red — never carry a red piece into a busy night.
  2. Keep two spare tables if you host gang nights.
  3. Hire a cleaner before you buy a slot machine.
  4. Clean up before closing, so the inspection you cannot see coming has nothing to find.
  5. Reposition furniture away from the door and the bar front, where brawls actually happen.

Unconfirmed at launch

Furniture prices, how many repairs each item type allows, and whether placement rules changed between the Prologue/Demo and the release build. The store's own advice — keep spares — is the safest planning assumption.
